Self Bath Terms & Conditions
Pawsome Rawsome Limited
These Self Bath Terms & Conditions apply to bookings made for the Pawsome Rawsome Self Bath facility. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
These Terms & Conditions should be read together with our general Website Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and any other applicable Pawsome Rawsome policies.
1. The Self Bath Service
The Pawsome Rawsome Self Bath is a self-service dog bathing facility provided for customers to bathe and groom their own dogs using the equipment and facilities provided.
The Self Bath service is intended for responsible dog owners or handlers who are able to safely control and manage their dog during the appointment. The customer remains responsible for their dog throughout their visit.
2. Making a Booking
Bookings must be made through our approved online booking system. Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed by Pawsome Rawsome. Your booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully received and a booking confirmation has been issued.
Please check your booking confirmation carefully and contact us as soon as possible if any details are incorrect. Each booking is for the time, date and service selected at the time of booking.
3. Arrival and Appointment Times
Customers should arrive on time for their booked appointment. Please allow sufficient time to arrive, prepare your dog and make use of the facility within your allocated booking period.
Your appointment finishes at the booked time. We may need to ask you to finish and leave promptly so that the facility can be prepared for the next customer.
Late arrival: If you arrive late, your booking will normally still finish at the original scheduled time. We cannot normally extend your appointment where doing so would affect another customer’s booking. If you arrive sufficiently late that there is not enough time to use the facility safely or reasonably, Pawsome Rawsome may treat the booking as a missed appointment. The full booking payment may remain payable.
4. Changing or Rescheduling a Booking
You may request to change your booking to another available date or time free of charge where the request is made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Changes are subject to availability.
We normally allow one reschedule per booking. A rescheduled appointment should normally be taken within 30 days of the original booking date, unless otherwise agreed with Pawsome Rawsome.
Requests to change an appointment made less than 24 hours before the appointment time will normally be treated as a late cancellation. However, Pawsome Rawsome may allow a change at its discretion where circumstances and availability permit.
A booking cannot be transferred to another person without our agreement.
5. Cancelling a Booking
Cancellation more than 24 hours before the appointment: If you cancel your booking more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, you will normally be entitled to a full refund of the booking payment.
Cancellation within 24 hours: If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, the booking payment will normally not be refundable. However, Pawsome Rawsome may, at its discretion, offer an alternative appointment or refund where there are exceptional circumstances.
6. No-Shows
If you do not attend your appointment and have not contacted us before the appointment time, the booking will be treated as a no-show. A no-show will normally result in the booking payment being forfeited and no refund being provided. If you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible.
7. Cancellations by Pawsome Rawsome
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking where reasonably necessary, including because of equipment failure, maintenance or cleaning requirements, health and safety concerns, unforeseen circumstances, premises issues, staff or operational issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where Pawsome Rawsome cancels your appointment and an alternative appointment is not suitable, we will provide an appropriate refund of the amount paid for the affected booking. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights.
8. Your Responsibility for Your Dog
You are responsible for your dog at all times while using the Self Bath facility. You must ensure that your dog is under proper control and that you can safely manage your dog throughout the appointment.
You must inform us before using the facility if your dog is aggressive or has previously shown aggressive behaviour, is likely to bite or cause injury, is extremely nervous or difficult to handle, is known to escape or attempt to escape, has a condition that may create a health or safety risk, has a contagious illness or condition, has recently undergone surgery or veterinary treatment that could affect bathing, or may require specialist grooming or veterinary care.
Pawsome Rawsome may refuse or stop use of the Self Bath facility where we reasonably consider that continuing would create a risk to the dog, the customer, staff, other customers or the premises.
9. Dogs That Are Unwell
For the health and safety of other dogs and customers, dogs suffering from a potentially contagious illness, infection, parasite infestation or other condition that could reasonably pose a health risk should not use the Self Bath facility.
If you are unsure whether your dog is fit to use the facility, please seek appropriate veterinary advice before attending.
10. Children and Other Visitors
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. The customer is responsible for ensuring that children accompanying them do not interfere with bathing equipment or create a safety risk. Only the number of people reasonably required to use the facility should attend with the dog.
11. Use of Equipment
The Self Bath facility and equipment must be used carefully and only for their intended purpose. Customers must follow any instructions provided by Pawsome Rawsome and must not attempt to repair, alter, dismantle or interfere with equipment.
If you are unsure how to use any equipment, please ask a member of staff before using it.
Any damage caused by misuse, deliberate acts or unreasonable behaviour may result in the customer being responsible for reasonable repair or replacement costs, subject to applicable law.
12. Cleaning and Hygiene
Customers are expected to leave the Self Bath area reasonably clean and tidy after use. Please remove excess hair from the bathing area, place waste in the appropriate bins, clean up any significant mess caused by your dog, use equipment responsibly, and report any damage or equipment problems to a member of staff.
13. Products and Shampoos
Only products provided or approved by Pawsome Rawsome should be used in the Self Bath facility. Customers must not use their own shampoos, conditioners, treatments or other products without first checking with Pawsome Rawsome.
If your dog has allergies, sensitive skin or another condition requiring a particular product, please discuss this with your vet and with Pawsome Rawsome before the appointment. Pawsome Rawsome cannot guarantee that a particular product will be suitable for every individual dog.
14. Dogs’ Health and Welfare
You remain responsible for deciding whether your dog is suitable to use the Self Bath facility. Bathing can be stressful or physically demanding for some dogs.
If your dog shows signs of significant distress, illness, overheating, breathing difficulty, weakness or other concerning symptoms, you should stop using the facility and seek appropriate veterinary advice where necessary.
Pawsome Rawsome may require the use of the facility to stop where we reasonably believe that continuing could put the dog’s welfare or the safety of people or animals at risk.
15. Slips, Falls and Other Risks
The Self Bath environment necessarily involves water and may contain wet surfaces. Customers should take reasonable care when moving around the facility and should follow any safety instructions provided.
Dogs should be handled securely and should not be allowed to run freely around the premises. Customers are responsible for taking reasonable precautions to prevent their dog from slipping, escaping or injuring itself.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
16. Damage to Property
Customers must take reasonable care of the Self Bath facility, equipment and premises. If damage occurs because of deliberate, reckless or unreasonable behaviour, Pawsome Rawsome may seek to recover the reasonable cost of repair or replacement where legally permitted. We will not seek to impose unreasonable or disproportionate charges.
17. Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for their own belongings while using the Self Bath facility. Pawsome Rawsome cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or is caused by our negligence or other breach of legal duty.
18. Payment
All prices displayed for the Self Bath service are stated in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment must normally be made at the time of booking. Once a booking has been confirmed, the appointment is reserved specifically for you and cannot normally be sold to another customer at the same time.
19. Refunds
Where a refund is due under these Terms & Conditions, it will normally be made using the original payment method. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer law.
20. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that genuine emergencies and unexpected circumstances can occur. If you cannot attend your appointment because of serious or exceptional circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible. Pawsome Rawsome may use its discretion to offer a rescheduled appointment, credit or refund depending on the circumstances. Any discretionary arrangement does not alter the normal cancellation policy or create an ongoing entitlement.
21. Our Legal Responsibilities
Pawsome Rawsome will provide the Self Bath service with reasonable care and skill as required by applicable consumer law. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. These Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
22. Changes to the Self Bath Service
We may occasionally need to change the equipment, facilities, opening times, prices or arrangements for the Self Bath service. Where a change materially affects an existing confirmed booking, we will endeavour to provide reasonable notice and, where appropriate, offer an alternative appointment or other appropriate remedy.
23. Privacy
Personal information provided when making a Self Bath booking will be handled in accordance with the Pawsome Rawsome Privacy Policy. Information provided through the booking system may be used to administer your appointment, process payment, communicate with you about your booking and operate the Self Bath service.
24. Governing Law
These Self Bath Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any applicable consumer rights concerning jurisdiction.
